The Academic Choir of the University of Primorska offers one of the most active social activities for students and other music enthusiasts. Activities are free of charge, on a high quality level. The choir also organises concerts of classical music and enriches concert activity on the Slovenian coast. Singers regularly present themselves at concerts and competitions at home and abroad with great success.

Hailing from the Primorska region, Ambrož Čopi is primarily noted for his work as a composer of choral music, an educator, organizer and an indefatigable choral conductor. He is the ‘father’ of the first edition of the Aegis Carminis Choral Competition and Festival (2019).
