They first performed with the B horns, and since 2006 with the Es horns, which enable them to perform more demanding compositions by both foreign and, more recently, domestic authors. Metod of the acclaimed Slovenian duo Dovč-Krmac is based on sonic and visual experimentation, relying on the sounds of the accordion, tuba and human voice. The two manipulate them using modern electronic tools that fill up the space with dance bits and lush electroacoustic soundscapes, which are interspersed with virtuoso passages and improvisation. The dramatic arc of their performance is complemented by visuals that respond directly to their playing.
