Eliaz

Artist

Eliaz is a Slovenian DJ/producer with a strong charisma behind the decks, who has left a big mark on the Slovenian underground music scene in the past half decade. His distinctive blend of house, techno, breakbeat and electro is characterised by ominous acid synth lines and trippy atmospheres. His productions have been released on various acclaimed labels, among them also the influential UK label Cartulis Music. A regular at the Ljubljana club K4 and Tolmin-based festival Butik, he has played countless DJ and live sets at home and abroad, and in 2023 he even toured Uruguay. He also co-runs the club night Sw:idr in his hometown Idrija.

Elvira Hasanagić

Although choosing to pursue her vocal studies fairly late, soprano Elvira Hasanagić was soon offered engagements to perform leading roles at major national and international opera venues. Elvira Hasanagić is also a sough-after concert vocalist.

Elvis Jackson

Elvis Jackson is a rock band whose signature sound reflects influences of punk, rock, metal, hard core and reggae. Ever since their formation, in late 1997, the band have pursued an independent path, transcending rigid limitations and seeking to present a singular perspective on music. Over the course of a career spanning over twenty years, Elvis Jackson have performed alongside bands as eminent as Faith No More, Sepultura, Anthrax, Fishbone, The Offspring, Asian Dub Foundation and numerous others. They have appeared at major festivals, including Exit, Sziget, Rototom Sunsplash, Devilside, Serengeti, Burgas, Rock for People and T-Mobile INmusic. Many critics are unanimous in claiming that Elvis Jackson have a talent for instantly captivating the audiences with their immediacy, energy, technical brilliance and congeniality. Not fearing to push the envelope, Elvis Jackson expand both national and broader perimeters of music, regularly play major concert venues, and are recipients of several Slovenian awards in recognition of their achievements.

Elvis Šahbaz

Artist

Elvis’s music is a mix of technical prowess and sensuality on the nylon strings of the classical guitar, with elements of flamenco, jazz and dreamy New Agey sounds. Many of his compositions were featured in scores of documentary films. In 2013, he provided live music and commentary at the kino Otok Film Festival. He was also part of the group of performers at the 24-hour live streaming marathon event at the occasion of the World TB Day, which was organised by Stazione di Topolo in Italy.

Emkej

Artist

Emkej is a Slovenian rapper and founder of Wudisban Records based in Maribor, Slovenia. He is also one of the most recognizable Slovenian hip-hop figures and member of the hip-hop band Tekochee Kru.

Erik Šmid

Artist

Erik Šmid studied music pedagogy at the Ljubljana Academy of Music, where he received his master's degree in 2016. He is particularly passionate about choral music, which he first encountered as a chorist and accompanist in various choirs. He has been a choir conductor for many years and has received the highest awards at home and abroad. Šmid not only strives for personal improvement, but also wishes to reveal to his audience the immense scope of choral music and raise the level of choral singing, thus giving each listener the opportunity to experience the emotional and expressive power of these musical works.

Etceteral

Artist

Etceteral is a vehicle for the exploration of repetitive polyrhythmic electro-acoustic music, for which the Slovenian trio draws upon influences from Krautrock and Afro-Futurism. The group is made up of saxophonist Boštjan Simon, drummer Marek Fakuč and visual artist Lina Rica. Their purpose is to create a propulsive rhythmic feel by forging an intricate symbiosis between one synth, two acoustic instruments and interactive visuals.

Ethnotrip, established in 2009, focuses its output on the abundant folk music tradition of Slovenia, Hungary, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia, England and Russia. The group performs at home and abroad, including in Hungary, Croatia, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.   

Eva Boto

Artist

Eva Boto started her musical career at the age of 10 by winning an international singing festival in Austria, but the wider Slovenian public got to know her in 2012, when she won Mission Eurovision and at the age of 16 became the youngest Slovenian representative at Europe's biggest music festival, the Eurovision Song Contest, with her song "Beljamem". Eva topped off her debut year at the top of the Slovenian music scene with a second place at the Melodies of the Sea and the Sun festival. In the meantime, she was very active in festivals abroad (Moldova, Bulgaria, Macedonia, etc.). 2018 was a breakthrough year for Eva, as she started to create original music.
