Igor Lumpert

Igor Lumpert, tenor saxophonist and composer, was born in Novo mesto, Slovenia in 1975 and now lives in New York City. When he was nineteen years old, he enrolled at the Bruckner Conservatory in the Austrian city of Linz where he graduated with honours. He continued his musical studies as a scholarship student at the New School in New York. He has collaborated with many established musicians.

Igor Matković

Born into a musical family, Igor Matković (1983) received his earliest musical education from his father, a trumpet teacher. As a musician in his own right, Matković has won three successive Slovenian classical trumpet competitions. He attended classical as well as jazz classes at the Ljubljana Music and Ballet Conservatory, where he is currently a professor of jazz trumpet. He studied at the University of Graz, Austria. Besides working with jazz ensembles as trumpet player or composer, he has also formed music partnerships with artists engaged in different genres, including pop and rock musicians; as a sideman, he has contributed to over 30 albums.

Irena Grafenauer

Irena Grafenauer completed her studies in 1975 in Ljubljana, and further improved her skills with two solo flutists at the Berlin Philharmonic, Karlheinz Zöller in Hamburg and Aurèl Nicolet in Freiburg. As the first woman in history and also a foreigner, in 1977 she made her way to the soloist position of one of the best German and world orchestras, the Bavarian Radio Orchestra, which was then conducted by the renowned permanent conductors Rafael Kubelik and Sir Colin Davis. She continued her artistic career as a top soloist and a teacher, since 1987 she has been a full professor of flute at the Mozarteum College of Music in Salzburg. She is the only flutist in the world to record an exclusive series of ten records for the Dutch label Philips, and as one of the most respected interpreters of Mozart's music, she has participated at the world's largest music publishing project - the release of Mozart's collected works on 180 records.
