Koala Voice

The four-member Koala Voice was formed in 2010. Sporting a mixture of rock, pop, disco and punk, the band perform extensively both at home and abroad, with appearances ranging from Russia and Liverpool to The Netherlands, from Germany, Bratislava and Budapest to Skopje. The British magazine DIY hailed them as one of the five biggest discoveries of the 2016 Eurosonic Noordeslag music showcase.

Kokosy

Kokosy is a Slovenian music band formed in 2016, consisting of Boris Kokalj, Martin Drobnič, Anže Lajevec, and Izidor Valič. Their music is genre-diverse, as they experiment with different styles rather than sticking to one. In 2019, they released the album Hude bejbe na dopustu, featuring songs like Gloria, Ranjena, and Leya. Their lyrics often tell stories reflecting the experiences and emotions of the younger generation. Known for their energetic live performances and innovative visuals, Kokosy continue to make an impact on the Slovenian music scene.

Kontradikshn

The Kontradikshn Trio aptly combines the incompatible and attracts even those who are less often on the dance floor to a hypnotic dance. The band's fusion of broken rhythms, synth punk, modern electronica and more has been described by Sigic as a meeting of The Prodigy, Laibach and The Chemical Brothers. Rockline, meanwhile, praises the band's ability to stay one step ahead of the times, and the band is also singing its praises in the countries of the former Yugoslavia, where Kontradikshn has been performing since its very beginnings - including winning 2nd prize out of a field of 400 competitors at the region's biggest festival for new bands, Demofest in Banja Luka in 2013.

Kristina Bogataj

Artist

Kristina Bogataj is a Slovenian choral conductor and singer based in Finland. She collaborates with EMO Ensemble, Tapiola Choir, RiiNa Female Choir, and her own vocal group, Lyckokatter. As a mezzo-soprano, she performs with the Helsinki Chamber Choir, as well as the Sibelius and Philia ensembles. She is also active as an opera conductor and chorus master in various opera productions. Kristina has participated in numerous masterclasses and festivals in Slovenia and abroad (e.g., Maribor, Versailles, Torino, Svendborg), and her work is marked by a blend of artistic disciplines, openness, and a spirit of exploration. Pedagogically, she has worked at various institutions, most notably the International School of Music Finland and the Caisa Cultural Centre in Helsinki, and has dedicated special attention to music education for children on the autism spectrum. Her work combines authenticity, curiosity, and respect with high artistic quality.

Kristina Ray

Artist

Kristina Ray, who currently lives in Paris, previously lived, studied and performed in New York for four years after graduating from Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. She studied music in New York and collaborated with musical legends such as Barry Harris, who is one of the most famous jazz educators of the last 30 years and who also worked and created with saxophonist Cannonball Adderley, Dexter Gordon and Thelonious Monk. With him and his choir, Kristina also performed two years in a row at the eminent jazz club Village Vanguard, where Miles Davis, Anita O'Day, Horace Silver, Charles Mingues and Bill Evans, among many other jazz musicians, also performed in the golden age. In November 2018, Kristina released her debut, a music album called 'Desert Rose', which she recorded with American musicians; clarinetist Adam Price, bassist Jack Synoski, pianist Matt Asti and drummer Spencer Inch.

Krka Wind Orchestra

Krka Wind Orchestra was established in 1957 in Straža, Slovenia. Krka Wind Orchestra is a group of amateur musicians who are dedicated to perform music at the highest possible level of excellence. Audiences benefit from hearing artists performing a classical and contemporary repertoire. Their concert performances are full of spirit, precision and enthusiasm. Besides bringing the new musical repertoire to our community, the Krka Wind Orchestra also contributes to the music education of young people. The orchestra has played with some of Slovenian's leading soloists as well as with international ones. Conductor of the orchestra is Matevž Novak. The achievements show that the orchestra is internationally recognized and is progressing constantly. In 2005 the orchestra won a gold medal with distinction at the World Music Contest in Netherlands. It is a multiple winner of the International Band Competition FLICORNO D’ORO in Italy (1995, 1997, 1999, 2015) and winner of Bamberg in Germany (2002) and in Pécs in Hungary (2010). The orchestra is five-time winner of the Slovenian National Championship, including twice in the top Excellence Category in 2006 and 2012.

Kühlschrank

Kühlschrank is a solo project by Simon Fuga, who released the album Konec nekega obdobja last autumn, featuring 13 songs created over the past decade. His music blends storytelling in the style of Interpol with intimate lyrical reflections on relationships, space, and time. The sound is based on acoustic guitar and 90s aesthetics, influenced by britpop, The Smiths, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, and David Bowie. Kühlschrank remains true to introspective and melancholic musical poetics.

Ladies' Vocal Quartet Gallina

Gallina, ladies’ vocal quartet (Ljubljana, Slovenia) dedicates special attention to Slovenian (folk) music, diverse choral music from the Renaissance to the contemporary period, music of the golden era of Slovenian popular song as well as foreign vocal jazz and pop compositions. The vocation Gallina considers of great importance encouraging young composers to write new choral pieces, thus enriching the treasury of compositions for female voices. In Gallina, four female voices meet: Maša Simčič, Živa Kolenc, Ana Plemenitaš and Višnja Fičor under the artistic leadership of Ana Erčulj.
