Laibach is a music and multimedia group, founded on June 1, 1980, in Trbovlje. The group expresses itself through music, design, painting, theater, and other artistic practices. In its 1982 manifesto, it defined anonymous membership, collective authorship, and an industrial work method based on totalitarianism. Laibach is a co-founder of the NSK (Neue Slowenische Kunst) artistic collective and has collaborated with various visual and theater groups. The group combines different musical genres, from experimental industrial sound to symphonic classicism and electronic music. It is known for its avant-garde approach and provocative reference to totalitarian regimes.

Lana Petrovič is a young jazz singer and composer who lives and works in Germany after completing her studies in Amsterdam (Conservatorium van Amsterdam). Her debut album is called "Reflections of hidden truths". Her music is deeply rooted in traditional jazz music, but at the same time it is broader and strongly includes the influences of classical and singer-songwriter/folk music. The compositions are the author's personal confession, inspired by life moments that brought to the fore feelings and thoughts hidden deep in the subconscious.

Since her debut with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra under Valery Gergiev in 2012, violinist Lana Trotovsek appeared with some of the world’s finest orchestras. She lives in London and is a Professor at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Lara Baruca is a Slovenian singer, born on August 1, 1979, in Koper. She began her musical career in her early teenage years, blending elements of rock, electronic, industrial, and soul in her music. Some of her most well-known songs include Ti si se bal, Kletka želja, Sonce in luna, and Norec. In addition to music, she has contributed to theater productions. Recently, she celebrated the 25th anniversary of her album Kar ne piše with a special concert at Kino Šiška.

Larao is a Slovenian singer-songwriter known for her emotive alternative pop sound. She gained attention with singles like “all i can do” and “no rules,” and released the Live Session EP in December 2024, featuring tracks such as “passenger seat” and “trouble.” Her music blends introspective lyrics with atmospheric arrangements, establishing her as a rising voice in Slovenia’s indie scene. 

Laren Polič Zdravič is a Slovenian composer, music producer, guitarist, and pianist. Born in 1986 in Ljubljana, he creates electronic and instrumental music for theatre, film, and media. He holds degrees in marketing, audio engineering, and music for screen. Notable works include the musical Turandot and albums like Hypnagogia. His music is featured in major Slovenian theatres and on platforms like SoundCloud and Bandcamp.

Composer Larisa Vrhunc devotes her time to spectral music and regularly takes part in composition competitions. She is assistant professor of music theory at the University of Ljubljana’s Faculty of Arts (Department of Musicology).

Lazaro Amed Hierrezuelo Zumeta is a Cuban-born musician and percussionist based in Slovenia. Known for his dynamic performances and cross-genre collaborations, he has worked with artists like Big Band RTV Slovenija, Tanja Žagar, Miron and Stjepan Hauser. Zumeta has released tracks such as “Afera” and “Številka 3 (Remix)”, and “Gremo se kopat”.

The rock band from Kranj Le Serpentine blends alternative 1980’s music, indie rock, dream pop and post punk. Their unique sound finds its expression in Slovene lyrics.

Leila Aleksandra Jelić began her musical journey as a backing vocalist on Jadranka Juras’ album Sakura. In 2010, her song Ti si was selected for the Val010 compilation (Val 202). As the leader of Leila & Don’t Quit the Band, she created the project Kjer je sonce doma. Since 2020, she has been exploring a new musical chapter with Peter Penko. She sees pop music as an artistic aesthetic and also works as a poet, film producer, publicist, and TV host.
