Pianist and composer Milan Stanisavljević graduated from the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, Serbia. After completing his classical training, Milan undertook jazz studies and graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria, where he also obtained a master’s degree. He leads his own band.

In addition to writing for different chamber ensembles and symphony orchestras, composer and multi-instrumentalist Milko Lazar regularly scores music for film, as well as dance, multi-media and theatrical productions.

Member of the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, violinist Miloš Simić is a conceptual postmodernist who develops his artistic style by playing with music. His expression derives from classical music – transcending its boundaries and then again re-entering its domains.

Step into the dynamic world of Mind Tree, a trio of exceptionally talented Slovenian musicians forging a unique sound at the crossroads of jazz, classical, and alternative genres. Rooted in collaboration, Mind Tree is comprised of pianist Matic Štemberger, bassist Peter Smrdel and drummer Žiga Smrdel. In April 2023, they unveiled their debut album, 'Catharsis,' a captivating journey through original compositions that not only received local acclaim at the Jazzon competition but also secured international recognition, winning the '7 Virtual Jazz Club' award for the best original composition.

Bosnian-Slovenian vocalist Mirna Bogdanović, who fled war at age two, is a prominent figure in the Berlin scene. An emotive songwriter and Downbeat award-winning vocalist, she blends jazz, electronics, and pop. Her 2021 debut Confrontation won the Deutscher Jazzpreis for “Debut Album of the Year.” Her 2023 sophomore album Awake, produced by Chris Hyson, won “Album of the Year” at the Deutscher Jazzpreis. Mirna’s group, formed in 2019, features acclaimed musicians and showcases her unique sound.

Mish is a Slovenian singer-songwriter based in Belgrade, where she graduated in drama. As the vocalist of the Serbian band Maika, she gained stage experience before launching her solo career. In February 2024, she released her EP Ne čujem, blending hip-hop, jazz, drum’n’bass, and soulful melodies. She is also a rapper, showcased in her track Bo$$y. She opened for Selah Sue at Kalemegdan, recorded a live session, and continues to create a unique sound that captivates listeners.

Mist is a doom metal band from Ljubljana, Slovenia, formed in July 2012. They build their music on the legacy of bands like Black Sabbath, Pentagram, Candlemass, Pagan Altar and others. Their first demo recordings, released in November 2013, have been trice re-issued in CD format due to great demand. In 2014, they signed to Dutch label Soulseller Records and released their first EP “Inan'” the following year. In 2018, they released their full-length album titled “Free Me Of The Sun”, which received many favourable reviews and radio airplays all over the globe. They have performed with a number of artists, including Manilla Road, Saint Vitus, Jex Thoth, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats... The festivals they have so far played include Bloodstock, Hammer of Doom, MetalDays and Malta Doom.

Andrej Janžekovič, aka Mito, is a Slovenian rapper and hip hop artist. Initially he was part of the collective Tekochee Kru.

The Mixed Choir Obala Koper was founded in 1977 and it has been led by a number of successful conductors. Since 2017, the leader is the renowned composed Andrej Makor. Obala has won 12 gold plates at the national choral competition “Naša pesem” in Maribor and a number of first prizes and awards at foreign competitions: the latest achievements come from Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Italy. The singers are also especially proud of various projects that they have realized and of the International Choir Festival Koper, which will have its 13th edition this year.

The Mixed Choir Viva Brežice, founded in 1992 by Simona Rožman Strnad, has brought fresh air to the rich choral tradition of the Posavje region. Over 25 years, it has gained recognition at numerous competitions, including the 2016 Cantonigros competition in Spain. Known for innovative projects, the choir performed The Symphony of Everything Flows to mark its 25th anniversary. With five CDs, they showcase works by renowned Slovenian composers. Viva Brežice is a symbol of creativity, socializing, and a love of singing.
