Tomaž Grom

Artist

Tomaž Grom is a double bass player, electronic musician, composer, producer, educator and explorer. He has performed at festivals across Europe and North America, and has composed original music for numerous theatre productions, contemporary dance and puppet performances and movies. Grom is the founder and artistic director of Institute Sploh, an association dedicated to the production of music and performing arts, as well as education and publishing. As an improviser he often works with musicians Samo Kutin, Vid Drašler, Jošt Drašler, Irena Z. Tomažin, Andrej Fon, Tao G. Vrhovec Sambolec, etc. and engages in occasional collaborations (Drago Ivanuša, Zlatko Kaučič, Michel Doneda, Jonas Kocher, Pascal Battus, Nate Wooley, Seijiro Murayama, Marc Ribot, Sonny Simmons, Doug Hammond, Axel Dörner, Eduardo Raon, Kaja Draksler...). He plays in the following groups: Tomažin / Grom, Samo Gromofon, Šalter Ensemble, Oholo! and Kaučič / Grom.

Tomaž Močilnik

After graduating from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz under Gerald Pachinger, Tomaž Močilnik passed the audition to train in the orchestral academy programme of the Berlin State Opera under Daniel Barenboim. For two years Tomaž had the privilege of gaining experience of orchestral playing and work alongside some of today’s most famous conductors and soloists. Since September 2016 Tomaž has been principal clarinet in the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, an orchestra enjoying high international esteem and holding concerts worldwide.

Tomaž Sevšek

Organist Tomaž Sevšek gives recitals at home and abroad. He regularly performs with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and – as a harpsichordist – with the Chamber Orchestra of the Slovenian Philharmonic. He is a founding member of Musica Cubicularis, an early music ensemble, and the Harmonia Antiqua Labacensis Institute.
