Veronika Strnad is a Slovenian singer and songwriter from the Posavje region. She studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Her songs, such as Ljubim, Nov dan, and Maske, blend pop and jazz with personal lyrics in Slovene. In 2025, she released her debut album Naslednja postaja.

A multipurpose event, exhibition and production venue, Vetrinje Mansion’s main goal is to offer support to non-governmental cultural organisations and facilitate their programmes. Launched in 1994 by Vič Grammar School students, Vičstock provides a showcase for young people’s music. The festival aims to promote young, unestablished music groups. At an audition, a jury composed of competent representatives of the music industry selects who gets to perform at the May outdoor festival.

Vid Drašler comes from Bistrica ob Sotli, where he initially performed with the jazz-rock band Zmajev rep and with the ensemble Malik. He has performed with ensembles Balžalorsky-Drašler 3o, Orkestrada and Drašler-Karlovčec-Drašler trio. He has also collaborated in theatre projects and with the jazz group Zlatko Kaučič Kombo. For four years, he studied jazz in the class of Zlatko Kaučič and shared the stage with musicians such as Vitja Balžalorsky, Jošt Drašler, Marko Karlovčec, Andrej Boštjančič, Andrej Fon, Tomaž Grom, Cene Resnik, Kaja Draksler, Mario Rechtern, Linda Sharrock, Petr Zelenka, Samo Kutin, Tao G. Vrhovec Sambolec and others.

After obtaining primary music education (percussion instruments), vibraphonist Vid Jamnik (1993) furthered his musical studies in Austria at the Jazz Department of the Carinthian State Conservatory of Music in Klagenfurt and then at Berklee College of Music, which presented him with The Most Active Mallet Performer Award in his first semester.

Composer Vinko Globokar first rose to prominence as a trombone virtuoso and dedicated himself to composing in the early 1970s. His music is noted for its social engagement, music theatre exploration, use of unconventional and extended instrumental techniques and free improvisation.

The members of the Vintgar quintet proudly continue the singing tradition of the eponymous cultural society from Bledska Dobrava, which will mark the 100th anniversary of its existence in 2023. Their desire and goal is the constant advancement and conquest of vocal literature of various musical genres, their repertoire includes folk and art song. The repertoire of the Genre Diversity enables them to respond to various types of occasional performances and a wide range of possibilities in creating independent concert projects. They have already performed on the stages of central Slovenian cultural institutions and churches. Visits take them around Slovenia and in the neighborhood, and at home they enrich the cultural and social life of their local environment.

Viperstone is a classic rock band from Ljubljana, formed in 2012. Known for melodic guitar riffs and provocative lyrics, they released two albums: 20:23 (2015), featuring hits like “I Got a Girl” and “Beware,” and Planet Paranoia (2020), produced by Marko Soršak-Soki. Viperstone has played major festivals and venues in Slovenia and beyond, including Festival GoRa Rocka and TR Schouwburg, Rotterdam. They continue to create new music while promoting Planet Paranoia.

For over thirty years, Vita Mavrič has been devising her original projects and staging them both at home and abroad. She is the recipient of the Ježek and Župančič awards, the City of Ljubljana Award, the ibis Film Award (for Best Supporting Actress in the Yugoslav film Belle Epoque, for which Arsen Dedić wrote the music), Viktor for special achievements and a number of other media awards. She generated public interest in chanson, Slovenian music poetry, raised the quality of lyrics and music, and developed a recognizable brand for the international festival La vie en rose and Café Teater, which she led for twenty years. With great dedication, she fostered and profoundly influenced the development of chanson in Slovenia as well as the specific genre of musical theater.

Vito Marenče is a Slovenian guitarist and composer specializing in flamenco. He began his musical journey with classical and jazz guitar, later studying flamenco at the Rotterdam Conservatorium under Paco Peña. He leads the Vito Marenče Flamenco Group, blending flamenco with elements of jazz, Indian, Arabic, and Latin American music. He has performed at international festivals and teaches at Pionirski dom in Ljubljana.
