Consule is a bedroom project by producer and musician Vid Benjamin Krajnec. His soothing music, a dreamy, wistful and cinematic blend of indie electronica and warm ambient tones, evokes strong nostalgia. In his emotive compositions and performances, he touches on everyday life situations, taking inspiration from the uncertainty of the near future. His debut album Lost Imagination (2020) was followed by the EP somehow, anyhow and the single Coping, which gained support on social media from renowned YouTube channel MrSuicideSheep. Marked by lush melodic atmospheres, nostalgic guitar strumming and warm piano chords, his second EP released last June represents a reflection on various fragments of the past that sometimes still seem appallingly intimidating to us.

The band’s wild mix of rock & roll and sweet indie rock has been sprinkled with electronic sounds in the form of a pounding rhythm machine and contagious synth lines. Through its punk attitude, the quartet reaffirms its old-school “Yugo” temperament. From Portorož down the Balkans and beyond – everybody understands what “čao” means.
