Defonija is a concert cycle that supports and offers the best of the world of freely improvised music. Does not defend experiment, productive electronics, questions history, is interested in old and new chamber music, likes to mix with kindred spirits (noise, hardcore, post- and avant-rock, hip-hop ...).

Delavski dom Trbovlje (Workers’ Home Culture Institute) was built in 1956. Known for its facade mosaic by sculptor Marij Pregelj, the building features a large theatre hall, a cinema and some small-sized spaces. In addition to hosting theatre performances and film screenings, Delavski dom Cultural Centre provides the venue for numerous exhibitions, concerts and other cultural events throughout the season. The idea to build Delavski dom (Workers’ Home Culture Institute) was proposed in 1951 by the Cultural Society Vesna. The following year, architect Emil Navinšek drew up the plans for the building that opened in 1960. Delavski dom, a historic building whose original architectural design has remained intact, provides the conditions for the house of culture to accomplish its mission of a major cultural and social institution. Delta Riff is a Slovenian rock ‘n’ roll trio from Ljubljana, known for their energetic performances and dynamic sound. They have released singles like Boom Boom Lady, Nesmisu, and Duhovi, bringing fresh energy to the Slovenian music scene. Active on social media, they engage with fans and share updates.

Denis Beganović is a Slovenian trombonist, composer, and arranger known for his contributions to jazz and classical music. He has collaborated with various musical ensembles and orchestras and released the album Senses in 2020, followed by Nuances in 2024. In addition, he is recognized for his live performances and collaborations with musicians both domestically and internationally.

The grind death band Dickless Tracy, established in Brežice in 1997, has performed at all major Slovenian festival venues as well as all domestic alternative music venues.

Die Alpenoberkrainer (Slovenian: Alpski kvintet) was founded in 1966 in Kranj, where the quintet gave their first public concert. Shortly afterwards the ensemble received their first invitation to appear abroad, in the French region of Alsace. To date, the ensemble’s records have sold more than one million copies. In 1996, Die Alpenoberkrainer officially disbanded as a professional music band at a gala concert in Mengeš and currently appear unofficially.

Die Runden Oberkrainer (Slovenian: Okrogli muzikanti) are a folk-pop music ensemble whose performances have been enrapturing domestic audiences since 2000.

Members of the immensely popular rock band Mi2, Jernej Dirnbek – Dimek and Davor Klarić have launched a parallel singer-songwriter project with the intention of making use of the lyricist and vocalist Dimek’s ‘left-over’ materials – songs too unconventional to be performed by the main band.

Ljubljana based band Dirty Sanchez plays ethno fusion and funk. Fresh team consists of experienced musicians who skillfully blend traditional music and it’s own material.
