Flute, horn and piano is an unusual ensemble that can express and evoke different moods and emotions – from a subtle, delicate melody to volcanic power. Nikolina Kovač J. (flute), Robert Petrič (horn) and Lovorka Nemeš Dular (piano) are professional musicians who are dedicated towards music production, they commissioned new works and recorded several albums. The trio performs works of classical music and other styles. They attract attention with a dedicated and vivid performance.

Trio Tempestoso

Trio Tempetoso is an ensemble known for their convincing and expressive performances of classical and contemporary music. Since its founding in 2017, Trio Tempestoso has regularly cooperated with composers of today, with the aim of creating new quality repertoire for this ensemble. In 2022, the members of Trio Tempestoso received the Dwight and Ursula Mamlok Award for their interpretations of contemporary music, which present a “unique sound experience”. The members of the trio are: Andraž Golob, Urban Megušar, Sanja Mlinarič.

Trkaj (Rok Terkaj) is a Slovenian rapper, poet, and social activist from Ljubljana. He rose to fame in 2003 after winning the national freestyle championship, and released his debut album V času enga diha the following year. He is known for connecting rap with Slovenian cultural heritage—together with professor Igor Saksida, he created Repki, a project that presents classic children Slovenian poetry through rap. His lyrics often explore themes of identity, social issues, and inner strength, making him a key figure in Slovenia’s music and cultural scene.

Tschimy

Tschimy is a musician, who formerly made hip hop beats and DJ sets for the Spejs collective and the rx:tx label; he also played bass for the Lube duše jazz line-up, and lent his penetrating voice to the Sankofa African choir. In 2020, he commanded attention with his solo project featuring singer-songwriter songs and a budding contemporary instrumental production.

two round robins

With his new project, two round robins, Slovenian producer and composer Andi Koglot (Liamere, Ferguson, Monowi Twins) takes us to a sun-drenched plain where birds chirp and a stream gurgles. His debut EP if true return BLOOM can be placed in the broader milieu of contemporary ambient music, especially the more “naturalistic” segment in the tradition of Brian Eno. Koglot subtly constructs his soothing compositions, interspersed with sounds of gentle pads, static, stretched, reversed, reverberated melodies (kalimba, accordion, cranked piano chords) and other atmospheric elements. The performance will be accompanied by an improvised violin played by Margarita Ulokina, creating an organic blend of acoustic instruments and synthetic processing.

The unique black drone noise project Umdhlebi is the work of Luka Bevk, the long-time DIY activist, organiser of concerts, music journalist and musician, who plays in the bands Melete, Human Host Body and Pakt.
