In 1962, the City of Ljubljana entrusted the running of the building to Ljubljanski kinematografi – Ljubljana Cinemas. With the arrival of the Kolosej multiplex in 2001, Kino Šiška and its 725-seat cinema were forced to cease operating for the second time.
