Lifecutter is a solo project by Domen Učakar, member of the experimental duo Ontervjabbit hailing from the Zasavje region. In creating his music, Lifecutter employs different guitar effects and electronic sound synthesizers, grounding it in noise and drawing on various electronic music subgenres. He treads the path between analogue and digital expression and evokes a darker mood by incorporating diverse industrial components.

Lim Smrad in Žila is Ljubljana’s finest “hoch punk” trio with short, explosive, in-your-face songs, but also a long-lasting desire to make music. Linhart Hall is Radovljica’s main theatre, music and film venue. Its cinematic repertoire features the latest arthouse and commercial film releases and special programme sections (KinoVoziček, KinoGore). Member of the ArtKino (Art Cinema) Network, the venue’s movie theatre screens a varied assortment of arthouse films. Linhart Hall’s theatre auditorium features numerous stage productions by Slovenian national and independent theatres. Link Der Wasser, a band from Deskle, emerged in the 1980s, standing out with original music that defied genre conventions. They peaked in the 1990s with performances at Novi Rock (1994, 1995) and released a cassette and a CD with Ksenija Jus. Their sound blends blues, hard rock, jazz, punk, and hardcore, deeply influenced by their industrial hometown. After breaking up in 1997, members remained musically active. In 2014, they reunited and performed at Sajeta 2015.

Lip Rouge is an experimental music duo consisting of Karmen Ponikvar and Eva Mulej. Their debut composition was “Sakura” from the compilation of Slovenian ambient music “Senzorama Vol 1” (ZARŠ, 2021) on which they introduced us to their explorative musical expression. Inspired by early electronic music, contemporary vocal innovations and made-up stories, the two conjure their immersive soundscapes. They combine the sounds of analogue synths, various vocal timbres and acoustic instruments like the flute in order to explore the yet uncharted territories of modern ambient and experimental music.
