Composer Leon Firšt started out on his music career first as a clarinettist and then a percussionist. He then studied composition at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana under Dušan Bavdek. His symphonic, chamber and solo works are performed both in Slovenia and abroad.

Leon Ravnikar from Škofja Loka is a promising young classical guitarist who began playing at seven under professor Denis Kokalj and later studied at the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet. He is a five-time TEMSIG national competition winner and recipient of the Škerjanec Award for outstanding artistic creation. In 2025, he achieved the highest score among all applicants at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. With numerous national and international prizes, Leon is recognized as one of Slovenia’s most exceptional young musicians at the very start of his career.

Leonart is a Slovenian pop rock band from Maribor, founded in 2012. The band consists of Sebastijan Lukovnjak (vocals, acoustic guitar), Andrej Knehtl (electric guitar, backing vocals), Martin Počkar (bass, backing vocals), and Marko Brvar (drums). In 2016, they released their debut album Visoko v nebo, and in 2020, they followed it up with their second album Vrh sveta.

Michael Leopold – Leopold I. is an unconventional troubadour from Gornja Radgona, who tackles complex social themes in his lyrics in a simple yet profound way. With musically diverse and rhythmically rich compositions, he breaks stereotypes about rap. His backing band, Drügi, recently introduced their new album Dober den. Known for witty lyrics that portray the “common man” and depict rural life, Leopold I. emerged on the scene in 2020 with the song Nesen. Together with producer Vid Turica, he released the album Dobro jütro, featuring the hit Kinderšpil.

Whilst essentially a 'sports bar', Lepa žoga (Nice Shot) regularly hosts various DJ shows and concerts, as well as occasional music festivals, most notably Šiška Deluxe. Location: Ljubljana

Letni oder (Summer Stage) is located in the centre of Ruše, a town situated 10 km from Maribor. The venue traces its history back 86 years, when first performances were held in the unique setting of Ruše’s stone amphitheatre. Location: Ruše

Liamere is a dynamic duo of vocalist/lyricist Kaja Skrbinšek and arranger/producer Andi Koglot. Their music fuses future garage, ambient, and trip-hop with classical pop structures. Blending atmospheric trip-hop, dark garage, and alternative electronic elements, their sound is defined by gritty urban arrangements, infectious 2-step rhythms, and Kaja’s smoky, velvety vocals, creating a captivating and immersive sonic experience.

Lifecutter is a solo project by Domen Učakar, member of the experimental duo Ontervjabbit hailing from the Zasavje region. In creating his music, Lifecutter employs different guitar effects and electronic sound synthesizers, grounding it in noise and drawing on various electronic music subgenres. He treads the path between analogue and digital expression and evokes a darker mood by incorporating diverse industrial components.

Lim Smrad in Žila is Ljubljana’s finest “hoch punk” trio with short, explosive, in-your-face songs, but also a long-lasting desire to make music. The band’s energetic live performances are spiced up with their loud, sometimes comedy-like interactions with the audience, cracking jokes and conjuring mosh pits and stage-diving.
