Layer House – a house of artists – is a cultural and social hub of the capital of Gorenjska region. It is situated in the town centre of Kranj, next to the Škrlovec Tower and close to the Khislstein Castle. The house and its surroundings have invigorated Tomšič Street, turning the area into a lively cultural quarter. Lazaro Amed Hierrezuelo Zumeta is a Cuban-born musician and percussionist based in Slovenia. Known for his dynamic performances and cross-genre collaborations, he has worked with artists like Big Band RTV Slovenija, Tanja Žagar, Miron and Stjepan Hauser. Zumeta has released tracks such as “Afera” and “Številka 3 (Remix)”, and “Gremo se kopat”.

The rock band from Kranj Le Serpentine blends alternative 1980’s music, indie rock, dream pop and post punk. Their unique sound finds its expression in Slovene lyrics.

Leila Aleksandra Jelić began her musical journey as a backing vocalist on Jadranka Juras’ album Sakura. In 2010, her song Ti si was selected for the Val010 compilation (Val 202). As the leader of Leila & Don’t Quit the Band, she created the project Kjer je sonce doma. Since 2020, she has been exploring a new musical chapter with Peter Penko. She sees pop music as an artistic aesthetic and also works as a poet, film producer, publicist, and TV host.

Lelee, the trans-Balkan indie rock trio formed in 2020, has quickly cemented its position as one of the leading names on the wider regional indie scene. Their distinctive fusion of 1980s Yugoslav new wave, 1990s indie and slacker rock sensibilities, and Adriatic flair makes them one of the most vibrant and memorable acts today. Following their critically acclaimed debut ‘Čuka bije pumpa’, Lelee returns with a fresh dose of original music on their new album ‘Mora malo u crveno’ (Moonlee Records). Bursting with infectious choruses and raw energy, their sound radiates sincerity and collective enthusiasm, a defiant response to the grey undertones of modern life.

Lenart De Bock is a Slovenian saxophonist and composer, born on January 26, 1998. He completed his bachelor’s degree in jazz saxophone at the University of Performing Arts in Graz, Austria, in June 2022. Throughout his career, Lenart has collaborated with notable jazz musicians, including Jim Rotondi, Rick Margitza, and Dick Oatts. He co-leads the trio Soothsayer, is a member of the collective Zhlehtet, and has recently formed his own quintet. In May 2023, he released the album “Mladi Raziskovalci IV. Steps.” Lenart has performed internationally, including participating in a series of activities in Brasília and São Paulo in May 2024.

Lenart Krečič is a Slovenian saxophonist known for his contributions to jazz and contemporary music. He has collaborated with notable artists, including Chris Potter and Brad Shepik. In 2010, he released the album “Chain of Sounds.” Krečič has performed at various international venues and continues to influence the jazz scene with his innovative style. Lenart Krečič is a member of the Big Band RTV Slovenija, serving as a saxophonist and the program coordinator since the 2015/16 season.

The band label themselves as an alternative turbo-folk band. They mix genres from drum 'n' bass to jazz, funk and hip hop with the passion of the Balkan temperament. They’re a party band that started out as a live DJ project and soon developed into a live band.

Located in the very centre of Maribor, in the immediate vicinity of the city’s main bus station and a spacious underground car park, Festival Hall features advanced sound and lighting systems. The venue has a seating capacity of 1500. Location: Maribor
