The Nova Gorica-based band Avtomobili is one of the most influential and legendary groups in Slovenian music history. Known for their originality and distinctive rock sound, they have been active for over four decades, releasing 15 albums filled with timeless hits like Argentina, Ona nosi uniformu, Skozi leta, and Pot domov. Their music transcends trends, resonating with both longtime fans and new generations, proving that the story of Avtomobili is far from over.

Bad Lori is a Slovenian dark pop duo featuring vocalist Alenja Pivko Kneževič and producer Simon Penšek. Based in Ljubljana, they blend eerie vocals, powerful guitar riffs, and deep bass lines. Originally known as Bombyx Lori, they rebranded as their sound evolved. Their 2023 single Apocalypse introduced a dystopian theme, followed by Zvezde. Both classically trained musicians, they also compose for films, crafting a haunting and cinematic musical style.

Under the name Bad Notion hides a power trio from Ljubljana, which was formed in 2013. The band performs blues rock with a touch of funk.

Taking its name from an old term for a clay vessel, the Bakalina Duo consists of singer Jani Kutin and accordionist Renata Lapanja. Both musicians originate from the hills surrounding the town of Tolmin and address their audiences in the local dialect. This native language not only permeates their music, but is also embedded in its innermost core. Standard words do not come close to capturing the essence of their sound.

The perfectly chaotic focus of the Ljubljana-based art duo is sustained by Kristin Čona, Andrej Pervanje and their visual artist Alessandro di Giampietro. Their experimental audio-visual experience plays with the hypnotic guitar rhythms, a retro matrix and provocative singing about the banality of everyday life, often pierced by resounding cries and sharp whistling.

Banditi is a punk rock band from Idrija, which has been active since 2005.

Bar pr` Gabrijelu has been a culture and music venue since it opened in 1995. It was established to address the general shortage of concert life in the region and provide a suitable music venue in Cerkno. In addition to hosting concerts, the Bar broadened its repertoire to include organising festivals soon after its establishment. Today’s Jazz Cerkno and Keltika festivals are the direct legacies of the venue’s first organising efforts. Location: Cerkno
