Megažur Agency represents music bands and individual artists in the music market. It also organizes different music events (concerts, animation, sound system engineering).

Uran Agency represents the most prominent names on Slovene stages, as well as the whole music scene of the former Republic. It also specializes in organizing open-air and concert hall concerts.

Ajda Stina Turek is a Slovenian singer known for her interpretations of jazz and blues and her vocal improvisation. In 2018, she released her first EP, Sonder, a set of original compositions featuring 30 musicians from all over the world, followed by a sold-out tour in Slovenia. In 2017 she was the only singer at Berklee College of Music, where she graduated in 2018, receiving the "Outstanding Jazz Vocalist Award." In September 2019 she was a winner of "The Most Promising Author and Performer" award at Popevka 2019, a renowned music festival with the longest tradition in Slovenia. In October she's representing representing Slovenia at Euroradio Jazz Orchestra, for a couple of concerts, performing music of Christoph Cech in Austria.

AKA Neomi is a Ljubljana-Dolenjska-based group, consisting of singer Saša Vipotnik and producer Mario Babojelić, accompanied by bassist Dejan Slak, drummer Marko Grubar, and trumpeter Igor Matković. After the release of their first album Poglej, featuring hits like “Odpri oči” and “Čudovito”, they transitioned into indie pop, trip hop, and psychedelic noise. They performed at festivals such as Waves Vienna, Westway Lab, Eurosonic, and shared the stage with Roisin Murphy. Their second album Beautiful Disasters received positive reviews and was nominated for the 2020 Zlato piščal award. After the health crisis, they released several songs in English before returning to their native language.

Founder of Origin Records and member of the Rite of Passage collective, Akaj is undoubtedly one of the most promising newbloods on the Slovenian electronic music underground. Despite his youth, he has developed a style that can be described as completely his own, drifting between deep cuts and energetic moods. He produces and plays a wide range of genres without any limitation, driven by his passion for sound, deeply inspired by the 80s and 90s era. Dedicated to finding unique and undiscovered records, he is constantly improving his technical skills, both in the studio and on the dancefloor.

On September 13, 2024, the Nama Alternative Cultural Center came to life. AKC Nama is driven by individuals and associations who want to work and participate in Loka. Not only to cooperate with each other, but also to attract others to cooperation or participation, who see such a space as an important meeting place, creation of new ideas and changes. For now, these are the Društvo Alternator, Kulturno društvo Grable, Kulturno umetniško društvo NUM and individuals of various generations who are not members of any of the associations.

Concerts of popular genres of music are held in the summer garden of the Aleja shopping center.

Singer-songwriter Aleksander Mežek began his career in 1965. In 1972, he recorded the album Days Go By (1974) for the British and American markets. After the success of his single Siva pot in 1975, he built a career both in Slovenia and abroad, with over 20 releases across Europe, the US, and the UK. He collaborated with notable artists like Cliff Richard, Rick Wakeman, Luther Vandross, and Jerry Lee Lewis. Mežek also wrote songs for other performers, making him a unique figure in Slovenian popular music.
