The call for submissions to the Biser Jadrana Festival is open until May 14, 2025. The festival’s selection committee will inform all applicants whether their composition has been accepted no later than June 10, 2025.

Selected applicants must submit their compositions with the final arrangement by July 1, 2025. The festival organizers will handle post-production of all selected songs, including recording performances and preparing material for later broadcast or other agreed uses. Chosen participants will be guaranteed a live performance at the festival evening, national TV broadcast, and media coverage before, during, and after the event.

The organizer will award the best compositions with prizes totaling €12,000, covering both evenings of the festival (July 18 and 19).

The first evening (July 18) will be the “Local Evening”, featuring only Montenegrin performers. Based on jury evaluations, the top 20 performers from this evening will also perform the following night at the “Regional Evening” (July 19), alongside artists from other ex-Yugoslav countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, North Macedonia, and Slovenia).

All authors and performers from former Yugoslav countries are eligible to participate, including collaborative entries between countries. It is important to clearly specify whether the performer is applying for the Local Evening (Montenegrin performers only) or the Regional Evening (participants from other former Yugoslav countries). In the case of a duet featuring artists from two different countries, the song will be placed in the Regional Evening on July 19.

Submissions should be sent by email to biserjadranakonkurs@gmail.com in MP3 format as a demo version.

Each submission must include:

·       A biography of the performer

·       Two professional photos

·       The name of the song’s author

·       A written statement from the author confirming authorship of the music, lyrics, and arrangement, along with their consent to submit the composition to the Biser Jadrana 2025 competition

·       A contact phone number of the performer
