CLASSICAL:NEXT 2027 Call for Proposals is now open
The Call for Proposals for CLASSICAL:NEXT 2027 is now open. The 14th edition of CLASSICAL:NEXT will take place in Katowice, Poland, from 11–14 May 2027, bringing together bold ideas, new artistic visions and projects that push the boundaries of classical and art music.
The call is open to professionals from across the music sector, including artists, managers, presenters, orchestras, labels, educators, press and media representatives, filmmakers, technology innovators, publishers and many more.
Proposals can be submitted in several programme formats:
· Showcase Concerts – 30-minute performances presenting artists who are actively expanding the boundaries of classical and art music, from early and traditional music to contemporary and experimental approaches.
· Club Showcase Concerts – performances in a more intimate and informal club setting, particularly suited to soloists, small ensembles and DJs.
· Conference Sessions – participatory and interactive sessions designed to share ideas, present projects, spark dialogue and explore practical solutions for the music sector.
· Project Pitches – concise nine-minute presentations of current projects and artistic ideas, consisting of a seven-minute presentation followed by two minutes of audience questions.
CLASSICAL:NEXT brings together professionals from across the international classical and art music sector, providing a platform for discovering new artists and projects, exchanging knowledge and developing new professional collaborations.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, 9 October 2026 at midnight (CET).
