Film Finds Music – Music Finds Film

The roundtable will be moderated by Markus Linde, with director Kukla and music agent Žiga Drofenik as speakers.

Film seeks like-minded music for an honest and lasting connection. Should you choose well-known original songs or hire a composer to create music specifically for the film? The discussion will cover topics such as music supervisors, rights clearance, and much more. This practical conversation will address the challenges films and music face when finding each other, as well as the potential of their collaboration.

The discussion is organized in cooperation with the Slovenian Music Information Centre (SIGIC) and the European project Europe in Synch. The session will be conducted in English.

Meet music supervisors – who they are, how to find them, and what they do to make your film music come alive. This is your chance to ask all the questions you’ve ever had about using music in film!
