Europe in Synch at Slovenian Film Festival in Portorož

Delegation of Europe in Synch will visit the Slovenian coastside for Slovenian Film Festival (FSF) in October. On Friday, 25 Oct (10:45) we’ll discuss Music in film – obstacle or opportunity? (Talk between Markus Linde and Barbara Zemljič).

Film school curricula often overlook the importance of music in filmmaking, leaving students unsure about scoring their films. Should they use composed, original, or pre-recorded tracks? Musicians and industry professionals seek to have their music featured in films, TV, and games, but the Synch process is complex. “Europe in Synch” (EinS) project connects the music and AV worlds, fostering dialogue through workshops at European music conferences. Get to know our experts and take the opportunity for a one-on-one consultation on anything that interests you about the use of music in your film.

For those who cannot be on ground, the talk will be streamed online and kept
