The NEW FACES 2026 Initiative Is Looking for a New Generation of Music Professionals

We are searching for young music professionals under the age of 30 who are active and outstanding contributors to the music scene across the broader Balkan region. Applications and nominations are open until 12 December 2025.

The regional initiative New Faces opens submissions for the fourth edition of its programme dedicated to empowering young professionals who work behind the scenes and actively shape the music ecosystem. The programme is based on active participation: throughout 2026, the selected ten participants will take part in five partner showcase festivals and music conferences, where they will be directly involved in the professional environment, programme co-creation, and networking. This hands-on approach will allow them to gain practical experience, build meaningful relationships, and become active contributors to the regional music landscape.

“The New Faces initiative highlights young music professionals and, over the course of a year, actively transforms and supports them on multiple levels. More than 80% of the 30 participants selected so far continue to shape the regional scene, taking on increasing responsibility and strengthening their influence year after year. Their progress shows how impactful support can be when young people are given space and opportunity,” say representatives of the partner conferences.

Deadline for applications and nominations: 12 December 2025
