WOMEX 26 Call for Proposals now open
The Call for Proposals for WOMEX 26 is officially open! Musicians, DJs, filmmakers, and music professionals from around the world are invited to apply and contribute to one of the most important global platforms for the international music scene. Deadline is 27th of February.
Each year, the official WOMEX programme is curated by an independent international jury, which will be announced in the coming weeks. Proposals can be submitted in the following four categories:

WOMEX 26 will take place in Gran Canaria, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, from 21 to 25 October 2026.
WOMEX is strongly committed to diversity and inclusivity and welcomes submissions from all backgrounds. The organisation particularly encourages proposals that reflect the diversity of the international music scene, including culture, geography, gender, musical styles, performance traditions, and innovative artistic perspectives.
