Tomaž Hostnik is a singer-songwriter, poet, and visual artist. He has written over a hundred songs, performed with Vudlenderji, Drajnarjuva vampa, and Hostnik pa Krečič, and composed music for film and theater. He has won multiple awards, including the Golden Kanta (Kantfest), Best Lyrics (Popevka 2019, 2021), and Best Music (Festival of Slovenian Chanson 2023). He holds a master’s degree in piano from Linz and teaches at the Škofja Loka Music School.

After graduating from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz under Gerald Pachinger, Tomaž Močilnik passed the audition to train in the orchestral academy programme of the Berlin State Opera under Daniel Barenboim. For two years Tomaž had the privilege of gaining experience of orchestral playing and work alongside some of today’s most famous conductors and soloists. Since September 2016 Tomaž has been principal clarinet in the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, an orchestra enjoying high international esteem and holding concerts worldwide.

He regularly performs with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and – as a harpsichordist – with the Chamber Orchestra of the Slovenian Philharmonic. He is a founding member of Musica Cubicularis, an early music ensemble, and the Harmonia Antiqua Labacensis Institute.

Tomi Purich, a drummer from the Slovenian Coast and a graduate of the Carinthian State Conservatory in Klagenfurt, is known as the leader of the festival band Melodij morja in sonca and as a backing musician for Jan Plestenjak, Nina Pušlar, and Lea Sirk. With his debut album #balkanjazz, released at the end of last year, he presents a blend of Balkan, Istrian, and Oriental melodies with an ethno-jazz sound. The album includes folk arrangements, original compositions, and popular songs, connecting traditional Balkan, Oriental, and Istrian motifs with jazz improvisation. Tomi Purich’s trio presented the album during a tour across Slovenia in January 2019.
