The Domžale – Kamnik Symphony Orchestra was established in 1971. It comprises amateur musicians, students and teachers of regional music schools, as well as professional musicians. The orchestra, whose repertoire predominantly includes classical music and occasionally film, popular and sacred music, performs several annual concerts. Each season is crowned with the orchestra’s traditional New Year’s Concert modelled after the world-famous concerts of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Domžale Horn Players were established in 1991. Initially, they performed with B horns, but since 2006, they have been using Es horns, which allow them to perform more complex compositions. They perform at hunting cultural events and participate in international competitions, often winning the “golden horn” award. As representatives of Slovenia, they also took part in the 2nd European Hunting Horn Competition in Levoča, where they placed fourth. They focus on educating young children and seniors with musical performances. The group consists of up to eight members, equipped with new Es horns since 2019.

As a representative of the younger Slovenian generation, Dora Tomori has developed her own way of combining indie rock and bedroom pop styles. Through her music, she explores her internal topography and surroundings, resulting in songs based on powerful lyrics and mellow atmospheres. On her debut album Where No Heartbreak Has Gone,released in the spring of 2023, she addressed themes that range from the influence of weather to the sting of heartbreak. It’s an exciting youthful exploration of intimate relationships that life brings at her age.

Kristijan Krajnčan (1986) alias DrummingCellist was born into a family of musicians and started playing classical cello at five and jazz drums at the age of ten. After graduting from a Music High School in both instruments, he moved to The Netherlands, where he graduated in jazz drums at the Prince Claus Conservatory (Groningen) and obtained an MA in Composing for Film from the Amsterdam Conservatory.
