Present on the Slovenian and world music scene since the beginning of the 90s. He plucked the most strings with the groups Psycho-Path (1993-2008) and Lollobrigida (2008-2013). In between, he also played in Kleemar's live act band Därectalchex. After a short break and almost giving up, in 2015 he responded to the invitation of the Dubioza Kolektiv, with whom he still plays today.

Jet Black Diamonds, a band from Vipava Valley, was formed in 2017. The band members perform a variety of musical styles, with a preference for modern rock'n'roll derivatives.

In 1964, the Musical Youth of Ljubljana was the first society of its kind in Slovenia. In two years, they have prepared 456 concerts and opera performances for young listeners in Ljubljana and other places. The basic concern of the association has been the musical education of young people throughout the years and has remained one of the driving forces of development. Many of the young musicians who had their first public appearances at her concerts have become prominent artistic names.

Jeunesses Musicales Slovenia is trying to bring quality music closer to children and students at its matinee concerts with symphonic orchestras, concerts at schools, music workshops and through music magazine Glasna. The programs complement Slovenian music education curriculum in primary and secondary schools. At the same time, it plays a valuable role in the development of professional musicians, enables young people to make their first appearances on concert stages and participate in international orchestras, choirs and music camps. Since its foundation in 1969 JMS publishes its own music magazine (Glasna).

A music collaboration between two DJs (Bakto and Borka) and a drummer (Marjan Stanić). Their mission statement is to make it sound like a band, a trio and not as "a musician playing along a DJ set".

Joker Out is a five-member Slovene indie rock band formed in 2016, who describe their genre as "Shagadelic Rock n' Roll". They had represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song "Carpe Diem", placing 21st. Their discography includes three studio albums: Umazane misli (2021), Demoni (2022), and Souvenir Pop (2024).

In addition to musicology, Jošt Drašler (1981) studied double bass at the Carinthian State Conservatory in Klagenfurt with Prof. Uli Langthaler. Recently, he has actively engaged in various areas of contemporary music practices with an emphasis on free improvisation.

Jošt Lampret is a Slovenian musician specializing in classical, jazz, and ethno music. As a bassist, he collaborates with various ensembles, including Wiyaala, PJAYS, Momento Cigano, and the Eastern European Bass Ensemble. He studied at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana. One of his recent projects, Nomad, was presented as part of the Noches de Tablao contemporary flamenco series at Cankarjev dom, premiering on November 7, 2022.
