MENT Ljubljana announces 2025 lineup
The showcase festival and conference MENT Ljubljana has announced the lineup for its 11th edition. The music programme features performances by 83 artists, from up-and-coming local and regional artists and some of the most exciting names from across Europe to British legends.
High-profile guests include influential BBC radio presenter and DJ Gilles Peterson, Irish folk band Lankum, who topped The Guardian's 50 Best Albums of 2023 list, English art rock trio Still House Plants, whose latest album made many Best Albums of 2024 lists, and Greek pop artist Σtella, a protégé of the cult Sub Pop label.
The CE/MENT electronic music programme, launched last year, brings two specially curated nights at Metelkova and Kino Šiška. Alongside regional and local DJs, two of the most renowned representatives of UK electronic music, Special Request and Djrum, will make their Slovenian debut. Also worth highlighting are performances by members of Berlin's Soul Feeder collective and the premiere of a new AV performance by DJ Opium Hum and visual artist Tasya.
