Jazzinty is a boutique summer international jazz festival and a musical workshop that has been taking place every year on the third week of August in the historic city center of Novo mesto for seventeen years., Workshops are attended by a range of young, promising musicians coming from all over Europe, the USA and even Russia, Asia and Africa. Evening concerts fill the old city center and create a metropolitan atmosphere with new trends of jazz, improvised music and creative energy. In addition to the lively concert life, workshops are conducted by up to 15 international mentors, world-renowned musicians and pedagogues.

Established in 1993, the international Lent Festival is among the largest open-air festivals in Europe and the most prolific intercultural festival in Slovenia.
